Leigh began his 35 year floristry and events profession with society florist and well-known Toorak personality, Kevin O’Neill, whose name was synonymous with major events throughout Australia. Leigh spent 15 years as Kevin’s fulltime, right-hand, creating the foundation for his love of the floral arts.

After’s Kevin’s passing, Leigh launched ‘Leigh Clark Event Florist’, which, along with his partner, has operated since 1999. Most of the business was floristry, where flowers play a big part in the décor and mood of events. The business also included a full concept design service which included supplying complementary components to ensure that the décor matched the arrangements harmoniously.

Leigh Clark Events created a solid reputation for their floral design work, becoming popular for their individualism and ability to translate a client’s requirements. Leigh Clark Events supplied the flowers for functions which include HRH Queen Elizabeth 2nd, Princess Mary of Denmark, Victoria – Crown Princess of Sweden, and President George Bush.

Leigh Clark Events not only specialises in large functions and events for up to 2,000+ guest but also designing settings for intimate dinners for two.

Leigh now owns and operates Florian Florist in Toorak building on the high standard and exceptional standing developed through Leigh Clark Events.
